Staff Granules for Oral Suspension

Active Ingredients:
Each capsule contains:
Dicloxacillin (sodium monohydrate) equivalent to 500 mg base

Each teaspoon (5mL) of reconstituted suspension contains:
Dicloxacillin (sodium monohydrate) equivalent to 125mg base

Indications for use: Staff is helpful in infections caused by S. aureus, S. epidermidis and N. gonorrhoeae whether or not they are beta-lactamase producers. It is also effective for infections caused by N. meningitidis, pneumococcus, beta-hemolytic group A streptococcus other streptococci not enterococci, and osteomyelitis.

Dosage:
The usual dose for adults and adolescents: Oral, 125-250mg (base) every six hours.

Prescription limit for adults: Up to 6 grams (base) daily.

Action: Broad-spectrum Antibiotic
