Active Ingredients:

Laprimox Drops:
Each mL of reconstituted suspension contains:
Amoxicillin (trihydrate) equivalent to 100 mg base

Laprimox Suspension:
Each teaspoon (5mL) of reconstituted suspension contains:
Amoxicillin (trihydrate) equivalent to 250 mg base

Indications for use: Upper and lower respiratory infections: tonsillitis, otitis media, sinusitis, bronchitis, skin and their structures infections, urinary infections, gonorrhea, infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria: Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae, E. coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella sp. and Gram-positive: Streptococcus pneumoniae, enterococcus, non-penicillinase producing staphylococcus, Listeria sp.

Dosage:
Adults: 250-500 mg every 8 hours.
Gonorrhea: 3g as a single dose.
Children until 10 years old: 125-250mg every 8 hours
Children weighing less than 40kg: 20-40mg/kg daily divided in doses every 8 hours
Neonates and infants up to 3 months of age: The maximum dose is 30mg/kg per day in divided doses every 12 hours.

Action: Broad-spectrum Antibiotic
