Active Ingredients:
Each tablet contains:
Alprazolam 0.5mg

Indications for use: Anxiety state alone or as a companion to endogenous and exogenous processes of depression, fear, panic, agoraphobia and insomnia.

Dosage:
The usual dose for adults:
• Anxiolytic: Oral, initially 250 to 500mcg (0.25 to 0.5mg) three times a day, increasing the dosage according to the needs of the patient to a maximum total dose of 4 mg per day.

• Anti-panic and anti-agoraphobia agent: Oral 0.5mg three times a day initially, increasing the dosage according to needs and tolerance to a maximum of 10mg per day.

• Weakened patients: Oral, initially 0.25mg two or three times a day, increasing the dosage according to needs and tolerance.
The initial dose may be decreased if adverse effects occur.

Usual pediatric dose:
• Anti-anxiety or panic: Children under 18 years: safety and efficacy not established.

Common geriatric dose:
• Anxiolytic: Oral, initially 0.25 mg two or three times a day, increasing the dosage according to needs and tolerance.

Action: Anxiolyitic
