Takinox Powder for oral suspension

Active Ingredients:
Each tablet contains:
Nitazoxanide 500mg

Each teaspoon (5mL) of reconstituted suspension contains:
Nitazoxanide 100mg

Indications for use: Takinox is indicated for: Amebiasis, amebic dysentery, giardiasis. Intestinal Diseases caused by Enterobius vermicularis, Ascaris lumbricoides, Ancylostoma duodenale, Balantidium coli, Blastocystis hominis, Cyclospora cayetanensis, Trichuris trichiura, Taenia saginata, Hymenolepis nana, Isospora belli.

Dosage:
Tablets:
Amebiasis (cysts and trophozoites) giardiasis and intestinal parasites:
1 tablet (500mg) every 12 hours for 3 days.

Suspension: (in patients from 1 to 11 years old)
Children from 12 to 47 months age: 100mg (one teaspoon) every 12 hours for 3 days.
Children from 4 to 11 years old: 200mg (two teaspoons) every 12 hours for 3 days.
Children over 12 years old: See dosage for tablets.

Action: Broad-spectrum antiparasitic

Takinox Suspension: Bottle with powder for 30 and 60mL.
